Updated interfaces and new GWAS phenotype content

August 9th, 2019 | Posted by tb143 in News

GWAS Central has been updated with revised interfaces and new phenotype content. All GWAS phenotypes are now annotated to the latest versions of the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) controlled vocabulary, and the Human Phenotype Ontology. We have updated the phenotype ontology tree browsers as well as all report and results interfaces.

In addition, we have released a new PhenoMap tab which provides tools for enabling the discovery of studies using five phenotype ontologies used across eight GWAS-related databases. Ontology terms and synonyms can be searched, and the ontology hierarchies browsed. For a list of the databases and ontologies used, see PhenoMap Content.
